Charming Cairns Retreat, Perfect Location

Positive: Clean, comfortable and spacious for two of us with everything we needed. Good kitchen, washing machine, dryer. Close to airport. Negative: Not much in the way of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a pub and we enjoyed a meal at a small Thai restaurant but in hindsight we probably should have stayed somewhere closer in to the city centre as we didn’t have a car.

Great service from letting agent who came to our rescue when we lost our key Positive: Neat and tidy very clean

We had a great week, weather was a bit off so unable to use the pool. Would stay again Positive: Clean, well appointed and lots of room. Handy to have a washing machine available Negative: Disappointing that the bedroom was open to the living room, too noisy for sleeping if tv was on. Bed was small and pillows not great

Positive: Nice unit, comfortable lounge and bed, well equipped kitchen. Negative: Didn't feel safe. Security screens to patio did not have key locking, main entry door is a very basic push in lock - totally not secure.

A comfortable home away from home Positive: This property is light, bright, super clean and beautifully appointed. It’s roomy and feels like a home away from home. It’s ideally situated on Sheridan Street which is a main route for public transport into the city area. Negative: Nothing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.
